Throughout my 12+ years of experience, I've witnessed the real transformations that happen through our work together. Here’s what my clients have to say:

  • “All I can say is this: Thank you for everything, for being by my side, for putting up with me – the super messy, confused, all over the place parts of me – and for helping me see myself in a way that I never have before. Not the mom me, the super successful me, the perfect daughter me, or all the other versions of me that I was clinging on to.”

  • “After what seems like so much struggle, my life is great, peaceful, and blissfully uneventful. It's bittersweet to see that I've achieved my goals because I know that means that the end of our work is near. I could not have done it without you. You really are an amazing therapist. I know you'll tell me that I'm not supposed to say this but I have felt like I have been talking to a true friend. Whenever someone asks me if I like my therapist, I tell them ‘OMG, I love my therabestie!’”

  • “I was absolutely terrified when we started working together. I was in a terrible place. But I knew I had to do the work. My children deserved it. I really truly believe that saying no to the promotion, prioritizing my marriage and my mental health saved me and my children. Thank you for being there for me.”

  • “We've been through quite the road together. When I really wanted you to give me a homework assignment or some tangible goals, you told me to slow down and get curious about what was underneath the part of me that always needed to check something off of my to-do list. And I'm not going to lie. I wanted to quit the moment that craziness came out your mouth. But here we are. Made it to 7 months and I'm proud of the work I've done.”

Outwardly, you exude success—polished and poised. But inside, you're struggling to maintain the façade. Perhaps parenting pushed you to this breaking point, or the stress with your partner has been going on for far too long, or maybe you’ve just had enough of trying to keep everything afloat. The point is, it's been building for a while and here you are. Accepting that something has to change.

→ You've checked all the boxes—career success, personal achievements—yet it feels like it's never enough. At the end of the day you're left wondering, "Is this it?"

→ Despite looking like you've got it all—perfect, confident, the ultimate 'boss'—you’re wrestling with worry that one slip could shatter everything.

→ You vowed never to be like 'them'—those toxic family patterns you grew up with. Yet, here you are, seeing echoes of the past in your present.

The mom guilt is real and no matter how much you do, it never feels like enough. Every day ends with a nagging fear that you're messing up your most important job.

→ You go through the motions every day, yet you feel like you don't truly know what you really want from life. You start to wonder who you are beneath all the titles and responsibilities.

→ You're tired of being everyone's hero, but the thought of just being 'ordinary' terrifies you. What if you're not special without your superpowers?

→ You secretly dream of a simpler life – even just a break from deadlines and demands would be nice – but you're afraid to admit it, worried it might make you seem less dedicated or driven.

→ You're driven by a deep-rooted fear of letting down those who sacrificed so much for you, constantly proving your worth to keep their struggles justified.

Despite everything you’ve been taught about success, truly getting ahead in life starts with getting a handle on your mental health. A sneak preview of the results we’re going after …

  • Stop watching as life rushes by. You’re in the driver’s seat. Start steering your life towards what you really want.

  • Embrace self-discovery. Even though there is no clear roadmap and no true graduation, you’re curious and excited about getting to know yourself deeper and more intimately than ever before.

  • Whether it’s staying in a relationship, turning down the promotion, or just ditching that pilates class you secretly hate, become more confident in making choices that truly align with your desires.

  • Put an end to emotional labor – playing the perfect host at family reunions or the go-to problem solver at work – and start reclaiming your peace.

  • Level-up your self-care. Move past the superficial spa days and create soul-deep rituals that truly rejuvenate you.

  • Recognize that even if you beat the odds – successful career, six-figure salary, and fancy job title – you are not immune to cultural and societal pressures.

  • Understand how dynamics from your upbringing, like being the 'good girl,' have shaped your professional success but strained your personal relationships.

  • Myth, busted: Why asking for help, whether it's hiring a nanny to manage mornings better or delegating projects at work, is NOT a sign of weakness.

  • Use techniques like IFS, CBT, and EMDR to work through unhealthy patterns, persistent anxieties, or just the trauma of last week’s staff meeting.

  • Finally drop the load. You can honor your parents and their choices to ensure your success without sacrificing your sanity, health, and your own dreams for yourself.

  • Balance high-pressure career goals with ease and spontaneous joy – they can, in fact, coexist.

  • Healing your "inner child" is not as weird or as woo-woo as people make it seem. And yes, you too have one.

  • All of the cliche things that you've heard about self-love are actually true. And it's 10x harder than most people admit that it is.

  • Let go of striving for perfection – at work, your parenting, or your Instagram feed – and find freedom in 'good enough' moments.

  • Sorry, not sorry but downloading a meditation app and using it every two weeks isn’t working. Create a personalized toolbox of strategies to help you manage stress and times of overwhelm.

  • Acknowledge that your intense anxiety about deadlines or family to-do lists isn’t just stress—it's a sign you need to pause and reassess your coping strategies.

Hi, I’m Dr. Minerva Guerrero.

I understand the pressures that ambitious, career-driven women and moms face, pressures often masked by our ability to make everything appear “just fine.” How do I know? I’m also a high achiever and perfectionist healing my own journey with never-ending ambition and I'm on a mission to make it safe for us to not be okay, and to help us recognize this in ourselves as well as in others.

Now, don’t get it twisted, I don't want you to swing to the other extreme either, where you lose your drive for achievement or for success. I just want to help you do it differently—what I call “success inside out,” where true fulfillment comes from inner balance.
